When heat generated in the windings isn’t evacuated efficiently, temperatures rise, causing increased losses, reduced output, and long-term damage like demagnetization, delamination, or mechanical failure.

To minimize these risks and unlock better motor performance:

  • Maximize heat transfer areas
  • Minimize interface resistances
  • Use high-conductivity materials
  • Optimize for external cooling
  • Reduce thickness along key thermal paths

A motor that stays cooler can convert more input energy into mechanical power, operate more efficiently, and last significantly longer.
