Building on Alva's proprietary FiberPrinting™ manufacturing technology, GearTorq™ introduces a new motor form factor designed to maximize the use of available length in existing geared actuation designs. Compared to Alva's SlimTorq™ series, GearTorq™ motors feature a longer design that enables engineers to create more compact and power-dense actuator solutions.

The combination of a compact outer form factor and a large inner diameter allow gear sets to be mounted directly within the motor's center, rather than only in series as conventionally done. This design approach helps engineers optimize packaging constraints while maintaining high performance.

GearTorq™ also delivers the core performance characteristics that actuator designers demand, including excellent torque density, no torque saturation, and high peak torque capabilities. Together, these attributes enable highly compact, power-dense actuator designs for a wide range of geared applications.

The initial GearTorq™ launch includes three sizes:

• 39 mm outer diameter

• 64 mm outer diameter

• 88 mm outer diameter

The series is available with different winding options and offers customization possibilities, allowing engineers to adapt the motor to their specific application requirements.
